 OpenFOAM (Open Field Operation and Manipulation) CFD Toolbox, from OpenCFD Ltd., can simulate anything from complex fluid flows involving chemical reactions, turbulence and heat transfer, to solid dynamics, electromagnetics and the pricing of financial options. OpenFOAM can export EnSight case files directly from the software, and has a reader written from EnSight's User-Defined Reader API. These have the advantage of not requiring a separate data translation step and thus reduce user effort and disk storage requirements.
